- Children freely move from one area to the next, respecting their work while constructing their "own" individual personalities.
- Basic etiquette along with social graces, charm and manners are taught in the classroom. The children are able to comprehend the importance of social skills and courtesy.
- Teachers serve as guides, monitors and observers rather than lecturers. Classrooms are calm and peaceful and a high level of respect for the child is displayed by the teacher or "directress."
