IB Diploma Programme is a challenging and rigorous two-year curriculum that occurs during the 11th and 12th grade years; school strives to adequately prepare IB candidates during the 9th and 10th grades within Bolton's pre-IB program
Automotive Service Technology program students learn about the key concepts necessary to succeed in the automotive field, such as general electrical systems, starting and charging systems, batteries, lighting, and electrical accessories; students also have the opportunity to compete in the Ford/AAA AutoSkills competition during their 11th and 12th grade years, as well as the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Building Competition
Students can take courses in technology, programming, software development and web design; opportunities to attend national and regional competitions to showcase their talents
Home to a Mid-South Food Pantry serving area families who are in need; students and families are involved in Make-A-Wish, Links of Love and Go Jim Go programs
Bolton High School choirs recently performed at the WTVMEA Concert Festival and received all superior ratings. Three of their IB artists had their artwork selected among hundreds of entries to be displayed in the Memphis International Airport. Bolton HOSA had an outstanding performance at HOSA Lower West TN. Students competed in 12 events and ribboned in 10, and they also successfully placed to attend the TN State Leadership Conference.

Application Requirements: For 2017-18 Optional attendance - for IB, score at or above 70th percentile on TCAP or ACT/PSAT/SAT. Have As/Bs and no more than one C for a semester average, with no Ds/Fs. For Auto or Info Technology, score at or above 50th percentile on TCAP or ACT/PSAT/SAT. Have no grade below a C. For both, have satisfactory conduct and attendance with no more than 15 absences/tardies.
