  • Tours: Optional Open House is held each year for prospective families. Open house will be held the week of January 23-27, 2017. Parents will be given a tour by our student ambassadors from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM each day. Additionally, prospective families are always welcomed to visit at any time.

Enrollment Info

  • To transfer into the Optional program, you must follow the Optional enrollment process. Non-Optional transfers use the General Choice Transfer process.
  • Application Requirements: For 2017-18 Optional admittance: Score 60th percentile or above on Optional admittance test (1st-2nd grades) or on math/reading TCAP (3rd-5th grades). Have satisfactory skills and behaviors and achieve mastery in all academic and support subjects on their most recent report card. Have no grade below a B for a semester or final average and satisfactory grades in special subjects, conduct, and attendance (including promptness to school). Have no more than 15 absences, late arrivals, and/or early dismissals.

    The teachers and staff are warm, friendly and caring. I always feel welcome when visiting the school. My child loves coming to school and she especially loves Book Club-I appreciate all that the teachers do to help my daughter excel in all of her subjects.
