Five gardens surround the school (Butterfly Garden, Bird Sanctuary, Lane Woodland Garden, Ashcraft Trails and Monet Garden)
The school has two computer labs, a laptop cart on every grade level, and five desktops in every classroom. All classrooms (1-5) have SmartBoards and document cameras.
Chimneyrock is a 2014-2015 Reward School.
