  Our children have been at Harding since Kindergarten. One has graduated and two are still at the Cherry Road campus. We have loved being a part of the Harding family. Our college student was well prepared for college and transitioned easily into college curriculum. Harding has done a great job of preparing our children with a good college prep education but they have also learned how to live a Christ centered life. The faculty and staff model this for my children on a daily basis. I see them constantly encouraging the students to be people of integrity in every aspect of their life. Harding has well equipped my children my their future.

  Harding provides outstanding academic training and pushes each student to do their best in the classroom. But the teaches, coaches and faculty also have high expectations for how the students act in the hallway, the language they use in the cafeteria and their attitude in athletic competition. It is a great feeling as a parent to know the school they attend encourages good behavior and respect of others along side strong academics.

  Harding is a great school! All of our children attended Harding from K-12 and went on to attend college on academic scholarships. Harding prepared them well. We are thankful for the hours of work the teachers invest in their students inside and outside their classroom. The academics are college prep and second to none. Nearly everyone recognizes that because itÂ?s true. Outside the classroom, our children spent most of their time in athletics. The coaches are the best in the business. If your child plays for Harding, they can expect to win a lot of games and compete for championships. However, the most lasting thing they will take with them after high school is they will have learned what it means to be a godly man or woman because the coaches walk their talk. When they say faith, family, and academics are more important than athletics, they mean it.

  I constantly hear the phrase "the Harding family" around Harding Academy. My children all transferred in from excellent public schools a few years ago because of a move. As we've become more involved at Harding, we've found this to be more than a phrase. The word "family" really does describe Harding. From the administrators to teachers to coaches to students and parents - I am constantly amazed by how people genuinely care about each other at Harding. Our family has greatly benefited from this community that holds high academic standards, effectively engages all socio-economic levels of Memphis families, and cares deeply about the kind of people they are producing.

  For two generations, my family has consistently been blessed by Harding Academy. The teachers and administrators at Harding invest in their students both inside and outside the classroom... setting high academic expectations, as well as supporting them in extra curricular activities and Fine Arts endeavors. Students are instructed by Godly men and women who foster a well-rounded academic experience and mentor them throughout that process. Located in the heart of East Memphis with an amazing facility that is unparalleled within the (interstate) loop, Harding offers a SAFE environment whose unique, family-centered culture brings an added value to our investment. I would encourage prospective families to not only tour the Upper School campus, but to also arrange for a 'shadow visit' for their child to have an organic experience of what it is like to live a day in the life of a Harding Lion.
