Speakers and field trips expose students to STEAM-related careers
Students will present a culminating project/invention at the end of the year during STEAMFEST
Academic Exploration and Computer Technology classes provide students opportunity to be producers, hosts, engineers of school based radio and TV broadcasting ("The View")
Students may take Enriched or Honors level English, Math, Science and Social Studies classes
Students must be zoned to school or apply for transfer through Optional Process. See SCS Optional website.
Application Requirements: For 2017-18 Optional attendance - applicants must have As and Bs with no more than one C as a semester average, score at or above the 55th percentile on the total and composite Reading and Math NWEA MAP, and have satisfactory conduct and attendance with no more than 15 absences and/or tardies.
