Houston High's academic accomplishments speak for themselves. But the school offers more than simply strong college preparation. There are numerous extracurricular offerings, including nearly sixty clubs as well as a full array of sports and a robust music program. Additionally, Houston has the most diverse student population of any of the suburban high schools.
The school receives strong support from the PTA and the community at-large.

had a great time at this school, heard its lost some of its charm and school unity due to recent events, but overall one of the better schools in Gtown
