  • We believe that all children can learn and should be prepared to earn a college degree. We believe that it takes caring, passionate, and competent adults to serve children and we are privileged to do so. We also believe that it takes an entire community to prepare children for their dreams.
  • We understand that there is power in diversity and welcome it, thus our focus is International Studies. It is imperative that we prepare our children early for a global society.
  • We offer foreign language and interdisciplinary units focused on multiple concepts and cultures around the world. Blended Learning is a system used to support students in small groups, individualized learning, and exposure to technology.
  • Aspire Public Schools has been in existence for 17 years. We have 39 schools in California and Tennessee. In 2010, Aspire Public School was recognized by the Oprah Winfrey show as being one of the top charter schools in the nation.
  • Our scholars are exposed to college by going on college tours in addition to bringing college to the community through college and career fairs. In Memphis, both of our Hanley Schools earned the highest growth score for academics the state of Tennessee can give, TVAAS Level Five.

  • Gifted Education: Will have a gifted program.
  • Parent Involvement: Aspire Memphis Schools offers a host of opportunities for parents to volunteer and assist in making school based decisions. Some opportunities include but are not limited to: supervision of students, reading to students, teacher assistants, clubs, committees, test proctoring, etc. School also has an Advisory School Council that include parents, community members, students, teachers, and administrators. Lastly, Aspire has a Regional Parent Council that is comprised of parents from all of Aspire's Memphis schools to advocate for children.

  • Students complete a registration packet and if applications exceed seats, students will be granted admission through a public lottery.
  • Application Requirements: Upon completion of the application a staff member will review the application and schedule time to discuss the school's program and any other documents required for admission.
