Extended Calendar: Intensive Summer Session begins in July, prior to the start of the regular academic year. 9th, 10th and 11th graders are required to attend while 12th graders may be required to attend.

Focus on college: the Kipp Through College program provides High School and College Placement, Academic Support, Career Services, Student and Family Counseling, and Enrichment Programming.
Title 1 school: U.S. Department of Education provides supplemental funding to district to meet the needs of at-risk and low-income students
Parent Resource Center provides a physical space and programming opportunities for parents including a library, computer room and professional development workshops.
Through the KIPP Though College (KTC) program students receive extensive college counseling to get students not only to college, but also extends support for students and families throughout their college journey as well.

All applications received before 2/1/17 will be treated equally in lottery. If there are available spots after the lottery period ends, students will be accepted based on their application date (with preference given to siblings of current KIPPsters).
