As a parent of ADHD Pre-K child my wife and I struggled to find a daycare we trust or a person we trusted to keep him and give him the guidance and nurturing we provide. A church member Sharon Fields introduced us to Libertas and we are happy with this school, staff and the environment if provides. We are sure and settled that our son will receive the guidance; support and nurturing he needs to continue to be a productive member of society. “Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom. I've been a teacher for over 10 years and this school is by far the best I've ever worked at. Thank you for the opportunity to serve!

My daughter has attended school for the past two years at Libertas, and is currently in her 1st grade year. I have been amazed at the quality of education and individualized attention she receives at Libertas. The team, both in the classroom and in the office, deeply care about the children and families they server. She has blossomed under the kind guidance of her highly experienced and capable teachers, and started reading this year far beyond her grade level. Inside the classroom, she given the opportunity to strengthen, grow and exercise her mind, and outside on the school grounds, she is able to to the same for her body. Libertas recognizes the need for outside play in developing children, and the Adventure Playground and Permaculture program are fabulous resources, the likes of which I have not seen elsewhere. I am grateful that this excellent public school is in my neighborhood and that we are privileged to be a part of the Libertas family.

Libertas gives my child the balance and structure he needs and each day he comes home and is excited to tell us what he has learned. As a Pre-K student its important to me that he isallowed to express himself and here the teachers ans staff encourage him to use his words.

The teachers and other staff at Libertas School of Memphis are warm and welcoming. When my child is having an exciting day, his teachers often text pictures of his new feats at school. I love that he has the opportunity to work with beautiful Montessori materials. On the occasion that my son is having an off day, I know I can count on the teachers and staff to guide him through some of his big feelings with compassion. They are wonderful at communicating both his difficulties and accomplishments with me, so I feel aware and a part of his school experience. It's a beautiful sight to behold when small children are busily and happily occupied in their "work".

My child began kindergarten at Libertas this year and we have been very pleased so far. It is a true Montessori school filled with beautiful materials and enthusiastic teachers/learners. The teachers are very warm and respectful to all and seem to genuinely care for the neighborhood and families who attend the school. We feel so privileged to be apart of this wonderful school and even though it is a bit of a drive for our family, we feel the level of education that our child is receiving is top-notch and therefore it is quite worth it for us.
