  • Alternative Education at its BestParent 01/29/2015
This is a well-run and pure Montessori school, accredited by AMI. I have 2 sons who went from preschool through 8th grade here and are now in public high school in Memphis. My daughter is currently in elementary and has attending since the age of 18 months. They are all thriving academically and have true love of learning and understanding of the world. The teachers at MMS are masters and observing and responding to the needs of each child. The school's location allows for a well-rounded education including physical activity outdoors. (The pond and Wolf River Harbor allow for kayaking as an extracurricular.) The families at this school are invested in their children and in our city. It's an amazing place.
  • A Learning Community Parent 01/28/2015
Our son, who is 13, has been at this school since he was 4. I cannot say enough positive things about this school. It is more than a school, it is a community. This community has taught our son to be a life long learner, an empathic citizen, and a high achiever. He excels academically and is well-rounded.
  • We really feel part of something greatParent 01/28/2015
Being part of this school has opened up a new found love of our community and city. We even recently moved from the suburbs to be able to be more involved with both. Our 5 year old daughter has learned in ways we only dreamed of and our 2 year old cannot wait to start.
