Reading on Wednesday is a program designed to increase reading comprehension and strengthen understanding of grade level vocabulary] to [Club days allow students to expand their special interests and hobbies. In addition, staff members get to share hidden talents--line dancing, cooking, crochet, board games and much more.
We are proud to have MBA Next in full swing. MBA Next students get hands on experience in computer programming and engineering design. As well as being able to utilize modern tools and equipment to discover their own creativity and ability.
TN Department of Education Reward School] to [Participation in the Memphis Police Department's Community Outreach Program has allowed MBA Execs to expand their anti-bullying agenda into other schools. Subsequently, the MPD uses MBA's CopWatch chapter as a model for community outreach.
Gifted Education: Weekly pull-out CLUE classes in grades K-12
Parent Involvement: Volunteer opportunities in the Parent Nights, After-School Activities, Special Events, Reading on Wednesday support, Community Garden
Tours: Parents may call the main office, 901-357-2711, or drop by for a guided tour with Dr. Menthia P. Bradley or an MBA student.
Students are admitted on a first-come-first-served basis. Applications are processed within 14 days and parents are notified by mail. Once slots are filled, students are placed on a waiting list. Families on the wait list are notified the first week of school of any available openings.
Five buses follow preset routes to pick up students who need a ride. Seats are provided on a first come, first served basis. Also, parents who live closer to 3306 may have their students bused to the elementary schools in our network (MBAE and MSA).
