Intensive focus on highly-effective teacher development; the School Leader spends 80% of his time coaching teachers and the coach-to-teacher ratio is 10:1 for accelerated teacher skill growth.

Extracurriculars: MDP partners with community organizations to offer extracurricular programs and activities.
Gifted Education: Gifted students will engage in above-grade level enrichment activities during daily intervention blocks
Special Education: Inclusion model; two special education teachers push-in to classrooms and also lead daily small-group intervention in reading and math
