Westside will be the #1 Middle School in Memphis. Students will be prepared at the top high schools and for lifelong success.
Extracurriculars: Athletic programs include football, volleyball, track, baseball, cheerleading, majorettes, and basketball. An after school tutoring program is sponsored by City Year, and a gardening club, drama club, and photography/yearbook club are also offered.
Gifted Education: Pull-out supports
Special Education: Push-in services for students with special needs, and 30 minute pull-out classes for extended math and reading practice
Parent Involvement: VIP (Very Involved Parent) program rewards parents for attending 5 school events, including Wednesday Night Family Forums, Saturday morning parenting workshops, Parent Book Club, and volunteer opportunities
