Students have been the TN State Champions in VEX Robotics; they represented Tennessee in VEX's World Robotics Competition. Students have placed 1st place in the University of Memphis's E-Day for transportation design. School won a 3D printer from the Tennessee STEM Innovation Network and have received a Tennessee STEM Leadership Academy Grant; STEMscopes curriculum winner, and the recipient of an Exxon Mobil Educational Alliance Math & Science Grant. WESS is the first SCS school to host a VEX Competition.
21st Century Library that includes a Computer Science lab and a Game-Based Learning Lab.
All field trips focused on STEM and college- and career-readiness; received $20,0000 grant from Verizon for Summer STEM Camp.
