Most of our parents choose to be involved via their booster organizations. Cordova High has several thriving booster clubs including choir, band, football, and basketball.
12th Grade counselor and College & Career counselor work together to help students find and complete college admission and scholarship opportunities. Counselors work with parents to complete the FAFSA by providing ongoing workshops both during and after school. Regular college visits and college fairs help expose students to opportunities and foster a college-going mindset.

The academics are a joke. Kids are constantly being passed regardless of how they do in the class or not. There is very little control and discipline of the students. The students can skip classes and roam the hallways constantly. The Admin is clueless and not liked by the staff. Large numbers of quality teachers have all left due to this current Admin.
There are a few really good teachers, but they are frustrated with the whole system.
