  • Hamilton High School school moved from a Level 1 to a Level 5 in numeracy. Hamilton High School was also one of the few schools that made gains in all subject areas on the state's End of Course exams.
  • Hamilton High hit the 93% mark with the TN Promise scholarship applications.
  • Extracurriculars: HHS Choirs, Band, JROTC, Basketball, Football, Honor Society, Student Council, Volleyball, Softball, Baseball, Track and Field, Cheerleaders, Majorettes, Leadership Hamilton, GLEE Club, Polished Pearls, HHS Ambassadors, Skills USA, FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America), FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), Honor Society, Book Club, Robotics Team, and Debate Team

  • Parent Involvement: Annual Title I parent night where parents come to discuss school progress and the school improvement plan. Community fairs. There is a family engagement specialist that has several events throughout the school year to keep the parents involved.
  • Tours: Open-door policy where families can schedule tours and visits to the school if there is interest in enrollment. Two open house nights, one in the fall and one in the spring.
  • There is one counselor. The counselor monitors the senior transcripts to ensure they are taking the proper classes in order to graduate. The counselor meets with the seniors once a month to monitor their progress, discuss scholarships available, and to apply for college.
