Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) trained teachers in both Primary (3-6) and Elementary(6-12) programs
With the unique method of Montessori education, children develop independence, and a fully integrated personality. School's goal is to instill in each child an enthusiasm for learning, to promote thoughtful and responsible behavior and to foster respect for the natural world and other human beings.
Located in the Evergreen Historic District of Midtown Memphis, school is within walking distance of Overton Park, The Levitt Shell, and the Memphis Zoo.
Prospective families are encouraged to schedule a tour and observe the classrooms.
Parent Involvement: Parents volunteer at least 30 hours throughout the school year sharing their time, talents and skills.
Tours: Caregivers visit the "Tour" section of our website and are asked to complete a short form. Once we receive the form families are then scheduled to attend a tour during one of our Open House events.
Application Requirements: Upon receipt of the application families are required to do a one hour observation in the environment for which they are applying. Then to complete the process they are scheduled for a family and child interview. Elementary aged applicants will be scheduled for two consecutive half day visits.
