  • Woodland values the importance of balancing the many aspects of a child's life and chooses experiences intended to foster the individual growth of the intellectual, spiritual, creative, physical, social, and emotional roots.
  • Core Operating Principles: safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environments; collaboration among teachers, students, and their families; students becoming productive members of society; each child succeeds to the greatest of his or her abilities
  • In 2014, opened a new middle school wing with a technology lab and four state-of-the-art middle school classrooms; also opened a newly renovated Early Childhood and lower school in 2014
  • Small class sizes, but large enough to provide opportunities for sports, clubs, performing arts, and student government

  • Extracurriculars: Soccer, Basketball, Cheerleading, Track and Field, Cross Country, Golf, Tennis, Swimming, Volleyball
  • Gifted Education: S.P.A.R.K. is the gifted program for 2nd through 5th grade students. Woodland also offers standard and advanced Pre-Algebra and Algebra I to 7th and 8th grade students.
  • Special Education: Breakthrough is a limited-enrollment program that supports students with diagnosed learning difficulties in Grades 1-8.
  • Parent Involvement: The Woodland Parents' Organization (WPO) is the primary parent volunteer arm of the school, with the belief that education is a collaborative effort among teachers, students, and their families.
