Gifted Education: S.P.A.R.K. is the gifted program for 2nd through 5th grade students. Woodland also offers standard and advanced Pre-Algebra and Algebra I to 7th and 8th grade students.
Special Education: Breakthrough is a limited-enrollment program that supports students with diagnosed learning difficulties in Grades 1-8.
Parent Involvement: The Woodland Parents' Organization (WPO) is the primary parent volunteer arm of the school, with the belief that education is a collaborative effort among teachers, students, and their families.

My children are in 2K and JK. After researching many schools, I am so happy with our decision to choose Woodland. My son has developed confidence and I feel that is mainly due to his teacher understanding him as a person.

My daughter is a recent graduate from Woodland and has moved on to one of the most academically challenging high schools in Memphis. She has flourished in her new school, thanks to the great educational experience she received at Woodland. She is making A's in all of her AP and Honors classes. The teachers and coaches at Woodland helped her develop a desire to excel in academics and sports, and nurtured the skills that enable her to achieve her goals. She still goes back there on her own to visit with some of the teachers.
Where the kids that graduate from Woodland go to school after they leave? Usually, wherever they want.

As the parent of a PK student at Woodland, I am BLOWN AWAY with how much he is learning at only 3! Woodland has such a family atmosphere that it feels like we've been here forever! It is truly a special place and my wife and I feel so blessed to have our child in such a nurturing environment.
